I've held an active captain's license for decades and run private charters through Bahamian out-islands most visitors never reach — nearly 800 miles down the chain. I know where the stingrays gather, where the turtles feed, and how to position a boat so you get in the water at exactly the right moment, in the right light.
These trips are built for photographers — and for anyone who just wants extraordinary photos of their vacation, whether you're shooting on a phone or a full underwater rig.
Two Ways to Work With Me
Hire the photographer, the captain, or both
Not everyone wants to book one of the set charter packages above. Some people already have a boat and just need the shot — or already have a photographer and just need someone who knows the water. Both are on the table.
Hire Me as Your Photographer
For guests, boat owners, or tournament teams who want a professional photographer aboard their own charter, private boat, or tournament to document the trip — surface, underwater, and drone. 38 years on the water means I know how to get the shot without getting in the way of the fishing or diving.
Hire Me as Your Captain
I hold an active captain's license. If you own a boat and need someone experienced to run it — a day trip, a delivery, or a tournament day — I'm available to captain, with photography and video included as a built-in bonus if you want it.

Half-Day Stingray & Shallows
4 hours. A calm-water sandbar excursion built for beginner-friendly snorkeling and reliable close-up shots of resident stingrays.
Full-Day Turtle & Reef Expedition
7-8 hours across multiple sites, chasing sea turtles, reef life, and split-level compositions with the boat included in frame.
Remote Out-Island Photo Run
A full-day run to the far side of the Bahamas chain — uncrowded water, untouched sandbars, and the kind of landscape shots that don't exist on the main tourist routes.

Photography Guidance
Tips on positioning, lighting, and timing to help you get usable shots — whether you're shooting with a phone or a full underwater setup.
Snorkel Equipment
Masks, fins, and snorkels provided for all guests; bring your own gear if you prefer.
Small-Group Sizes
Trips are kept small — typically 4 to 6 guests — so everyone gets time and space in the water.
